Dura-Bench Original Greenhouse
Bench Top is Designed to replace traditional wood, metal and
wire bench top, Dura-Bench offers a tougher,
longer lasting growing surface while eliminating problems associated
with
other bench top materials.
Dura-Bench plastic bench top is engineered to replace
wood, wire, and expanded metal on greenhouse benches. The 2’x4’ (8
sq.ft) non-porous polypropylene plastic panel is designed with 1.1” x 1.1” square
holes for easy cleaning, and is engineered to interconnect with other Dura-Bench panels
to create a smooth, flat bench surface. The Dura-Bench is durable,
smooth, non-porous, and allows trays, flats, and pots to slide across the surface
without snagging. The panels will not rot, crack, or splinter like wood products;
and it will not corrode, rust or have sharp edges like expanded metal or wire
tops. Dura-Bench is peak load tested at 630 lbs. and will not
dent or warp. Attaching the Dura-Bench to metal, wood, or a
pipe substructure is fast, and easy using #10 stainless steel screws. With countersunk
pre-molded holes, the screws pull down and hold the panels from moving on the
bench top.
NON-OVERLAP DESIGN
The Dura-Bench Non-Overlap design is 2’ wide by 4’ long
with interlocking tabs running along the 4’ side. The Non-Overlap design
is primarily used in 4’ wide benches where no connection is made on the
2’ side of the panel.

OVERLAP DESIGN
The Overlap design interlocks on all four (4) sides of the panel allowing
any combination of bench sizes to be designed and fabricated. The flexible
design
allows for 1’ wide to 8’ wide benches. The Overlap design is 2’ wide
by 4’ long with interlocking tabs running along the 4’ side, and
uses an overlap connection along the 2’ side of the panel. The Overlap
design allows two panels to be connected on the 2’ side while utilizing
only one cross support for the two panels. This is most
common for 2’, 3’, 5’, 6’ and 8’ bench widths.
